history

The Buffalo Buccaneers first started as the Lancaster Buccaneers playing in the Western New York Christian Football League back in 1998.  The team name changed in 2001 to the Buffalo Buccaneers, in order to become better recognized in national tournaments.  The Buc's continuously travel among tournaments sponsored by the United States Flag and Touch League (USFTL) around the nation. The Buc's are currently in the "B" division ranks, after winning the "C" division national championship in 2005.  The Buc's make weekend trips throughout the year to cities such as Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Baltimore, Detroit, and Orlando, FL.  A special thanks goes out to every sponsor that has helped us along the way.
